Faith, hope and Love.
But the greatest of these is Love.

Tender-hearted, forgiving one
Another, even as God for
Christ sake hath forgiven you
~Ephesians 4:32~

He first Loved us.

There is neither bond nor free ,
There is neither male nor female:
For ye are all  one in are
Are all one in Christ …”
~ Galations 3:28~

“… Let every man have his own
Wife and let every woman have
Her own husband. Let the
Husband render unto the wife
Due
Benevolence :and likewise also
The wife unto the husband .The
Wife hath not the power of her
But the husband :
And likewise also the husband
Hath not
Power of his own body. But the
Wife.

That one lay down his life for
His friends.
~ John 15:13 ~

For this is the message that ye
Heard from the beginning,
That we should love one
Another.
~ 1 John 3:11 ~

For God so loved the world,
That he gave his only begotten
Son
That whosoever believe on him
Should not perish, but have
Everlasting life.
~ John 3:16~

Love is patient, Love is kind.
Its does not envy.
Love is never boastful, nor
Conceited, nor rude:
Its not self-seeking,
Nor easily angered.
It keeps no record of wrongdoing.
It does not delight in evil,
But rejoices in the truth. It
Always protects, trusts,
Hopes, and preserves. There
is nothing Love can not face:
There is not limit it its faith,
Hope, and endurance.
In a word, there are three things that last
Forever:
Faith, hope, and Love ;
But the greatest of them all is Love.
~ 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 ~

                        Poem

The little things are the Big things.
It is never being too old to hold hands.
It is remembering to say
I Love you at least once a day.
It is never going to sleep angry.

It is at no time Taking the other For granted;
The courtship should not End with the honeymoon,
It should continue through all the years.
It  is having a mutual sense of Values and common objectives.

It is standing together facing the world.
It is forming a circle of love that gathers in the whole family.
It is doing things for each other, not in the attitude of duty Or sacrifice, but in the spirit of joy.
It is speaking words of appreciation and Demonstrating gratitude in thoughtful ways.
It is not expecting the husband to wear a halo Or the wife to have wings of an angel.

It is not looking for perfection in each other.
It is cultivating flexibility, patience, understanding and sense of humor.
It is having the capacity to forgive and forget.
It is giving each other an atmosphere in which each can grow.

It is a common search for the good and the beautiful.
It is establishing a relationship in which the
Independence is equal, dependence is mutual and the obligation is reciprocal.
It is not only marrying the right partner,
It is being right partner.

God is Love ,and he who
Abide in love abides in
God, and God abides in
Him. (1 Jn 4:16)

Bible name for Girls | Bible name for baby girls

Bible name for baby girls

Bible name for Girls,  Hi guys, so today I am here with a new name post for you and today I'm going to be talking about one of my favourite name topics and that is biblical baby names. I love names from the Bible. I love really ancient names that have a lot of history and names that have really great stories behind them so obviously I'm gonna love biblical names since most of these names are really old thousands of years old and a lot of them have such great stories with them. I am breaking this post up into two parts .I'm going to do one post for girls and otherone for boy because I couldn't narrow it down to just ten names for girls and ten names for boys. So I'm going to do one post for girls and then another in one post. so today I am gonna start with the girls names and I have 15 girls names. I want to share with you. so I am just going to jump right in.

At number 15, I have Miriam.Miriam is the original Hebrew form of Mary and in the OldTestament. Miriam was a prophetes sand the sister of Moses and Aaron. I think Miriam is such a beautiful name  I think it's very underused. personally I would probably use Muriel before I used Miriam just because it's a family name but Miriam has been in my top 10 in the past and I would love to meet a little girl named Miriam.

At number 14 I have one that I just recently came across and it is actually a place name for those of you who know me you know that I love place names and that is Arimathea. Arimathea is a place name it's a city in Judea in the Bible there's a man named Joseph of Arimathea who donates his tumes to Jesus and other than in the Bible. there is no record of this place .so it's kind of like a mysterious place but I think it would fit in with girls names today kind of names like Aria or Theodora you could get the nickname Aria or you could get the nickname via Arimathea. I just think it sounds like a princess. I think it is so pretty and I love the mystery of not knowing where it was or having no record of it other than in the Bible. I think that's kind of cool.

At number 13 I have Keturah. Keturah is a gorgeous name it's a Hebrew name and it means incense and Keturah was the wife of Abraham after Sarah died he remarried and he married Keturah and Keterah and Abraham had six sons together. My friend Elena is going to use this name for her daughter and it's just so beautiful.

Number 12 I have another place name and that is Bethlehem. Bethlehem is of course the village where Jesus was born and Bethlehem is a Hebrew name and it means House of bread. I think this could be a really interesting alternative to Elizabeth or Bethenny if you want to get the nickname Beth and you're a little bit more adventurous in your name and choices.

At number 11 I have Tabitha.Tabitha is gorgeous it's an Aramaic name and it means gazelle I love biblical names because there are so many different origins so many different languages that the names come from they can be Hebrew or Latin or Greek or Aramaic or even Egyptian so that's something that I love about biblical names and Tabitha was a woman in the New Testament who was raised from the dead by Peter.

At number 10 I have a Jemima. Jemima is so cute I love that you could get the nicknames Jim or Gemma that makes it sound a little more modern. it's a Hebrew name it means dove which is a gorgeous meaning so you could even use the nickname dove and Jemima was the eldest of the three beautiful daughters of jow.

At number nine I have a name that I love and I think is so fun to say and that is Hephzibah. Hephzibah I love it so much it is so out there and unique. it has a lot of different nickname possibilities like happy or zippy a really fun name it's a Hebrew name and it means ,my delight is in her. so it's got a great meaning and Hephzibah was a queen in the Old Testament.

Number eight I have Azenath. Azenath that is such a different sounding name it's definitely not like anything that you hear today. it's an Egyptian name and it means devoted to the goddess Neith and this was the Egyptian wife of Joseph and the mother of his two sons. I love this name for a really long time ,I love the AZ spelling although some people spell it a s as well.

Number seven is Priscilla. Priscilla is a Roman diminutive of the name Priska which means ancient and a fun fact about this name is that originally in Latin, it would have been pronounced Priscilla because they didn't have that softs sound that we have in English. I definitely prefer Priscilla to Priscilla there's something just a lot more pleasing sounding about the name Priscilla compared to Priscilla and Priscilla was an early Christian woman in the New Testament.

At number six I have a name that I think is so underused and so pretty and that is Jerusha. Jerusha it's so gorgeous and it's easy to spell easy to pronounce it's a Hebrew name that means married. I think it would fit in really well with all the popular J names today and she was a queen in the Old Testament. Another Queen in the Old Testament was Mehetabel. Mehetabel is a name that I have been so in love with recently. It's a Hebrew name and it has an amazing meaning. it means God makes me happy. I don't think you could find a better meaning for a name than that Matabele. it is so unique but you could still use the nickname Bella. I love that about this name.

The next name I have is Galilee. Oh my gosh Galilee has the most beautiful lilting musical sound to it. Galilee, it's a Hebrew name and it means Provence and of course this is the name of the place where Jesus grew up. I don't think you could go wrong with this name I just think. it is so so beautiful.

Number three is a name that I would absolutely consider using and that is Hadassah. Hadassah is so  gorgeous it's a Hebrew name and it means myrtle tree and this is actually the Hebrew name of Queen Esther from the book of Esther in the Old Testament and Hadassah, I just cannot say enough good things about it .it is so beautiful there is a little bit of teasing potential because of a word that's contained in the middle of this name but I could get past that so easily. I just think it is gorgeous. I love the story of Esther. I think she is such a great role model such a great name sake.

My second favourite biblical girl's name is Tzipporah. Tzipporah is a Hebrew name that means bird she was the wife of Moses and the mother of his two sons and I loved this name for such a long time. personally I prefer the TZ spelling but some people just like to spell it with just a Zi like both spellings. I just think it's such a great name.

My favourite biblical girl's name is a lot more popular than most of the names on this list and that is Elizabeth. it's been the name of Queens of a lot of famous people of just a lot of people that I have good associations with and  of course it's my mother's name and I would use it to honor her. I love the nickname Eliza,my mom goes by Liz so I don't think that would get confusing. if I did use this name.

Elizabeth is a Hebrew name, it means God is my oath and Elizabeth was the Virgin Mary's cousin and she was the mother of John the Baptist and Elizabeth, Mary actually goes to visit her while she's pregnant and while Elizabeth is pregnant and it's one of my absolute favorite parts of the Bible I just think it is such a beautiful story. When Mary goes to visit Elizabeth that's one of my, yeah it's one of my favorite parts of the Bible and I just love the name. I love the name so much and I love the nickname Eliza so those are my favorite biblical girls names. I would love to know what yours are. what biblical names do you love. Let me knowing the comments below and I will talk to you next time for Biblical boys names.

bible name for baby boy | biblical name for baby

biblical name for baby boy

Hi guys so today, I'm here with a new name of Bible name for baby boy  for you. A lot of you seem to love the last time that I talked about biblical names. so I decided to go through the name use and find some biblical names that were used only a few times. so this video will be on rare biblical boys names and then I'm going to do a second one on prayer biblical girls names. All the names on this list were given to less than 50 babies in 2016 and most of them were given to less than 20 babies. So to put that in perspective, the most popular name of 2016 for boys that also happens to be biblical was Noah.

Noah was given to over 19,000 baby boys in 2016. so I tried to find these biblical names that would make really really interesting alternatives to some of the more popular biblical boys names like Noah and Samuel and Matthew and I love dall of the names on this list and I really think that you guys will appreciate these names too. so I am so excited about this list and I just want to jump right in and get started so the first name I have on this list is Zebulon.

Zebulon was given to only 19 baby boys in 2016. It's been one of my favourite biblical boys names for a long time. Zebulon was one of the sons of Leah and Jacob and it's also the name of one of the twelve tribes of Israel. I think the nickname Zeb is so cool and kind of has a futuristic sound to it .this name has several possible meanings it might mean Prince or possibly gift either of which are super super cool. Another spelling of Zebulun was used only 24 times in 2016. so wherever which ever spelling you go with is still going to be super unusual and really really cool.

The next name I have would be an amazing alternative to Noah and that is Manoa. Manoa would only get into 18 boys in 2016. it is so handsome. I think that extra syllable just give it something extra and it means rest. in the Bible Manoa is a faithful man who eventually becomes the father of the hero Samson. This name makes an amazing Noah alternative and Noah could even be used as a nickname.
The next name I have is Camula.  Camula was given to 17 boys in 2016. It's one of my new favourite. I really like this name. Camula is the name of at least three men in the Bible one being the nephew of Abraham it comes from Hebrew and means God is rising which is a great meaning. it has a very attractive sound and could be a Samuel alternative or a way to even honor a Samuel or even a Canon.

The next name I have is every Esra was only given to 14 boys in 2016 and Ezra is so popular right now. It's just shot up the popularity charts thanks to the show pretty little liars and I think the name Ezra would make an amazing as their alternative. Ezra means my helper and in the Bible Andrea isn't overseer during the reign of King David.

The next name is one of my favourite. I keep saying these are all my favorites. I just love all of these names and that is Aquila. Aquila was given to only ten boys in 2016 this name means Eagle which makes it even cooler. in the Bible Aquila and his wife Priscilla which is another one of my favorite names are early Christians in the New Testament and Aquila can get a very very cool nick name Quill. Aquila is also the name of a constellation that represents an eagle in the northern sky. so that just give sit an extra cool factor like, Oh your name is also the name of that constellation up there. I think that would be really really cool.

the next name is Jubal. Jubal it's probably my favorite name on this list right now my top boys combination is Kathleen Jubal .Jubal was only given to 18 boys in 2016. Jubal moves around horn and Jubal was the first person in the Old Testament to be a musician. in Genesis it talks about Jubal being the inventor of all of these musical instruments like the lyre and the flute and the harp. so I think this may be an amazing choice for a musical family looking for an unusual choice for their son and I just absolutely love this name. I think it would make an amazing middle name choice just like I have on my last cast Jubal maybe as an alternative to some of the more popular J names out there.

The next name I have on this list is a Matthan. Matthan was only given to nine babies in 2016. Matthan is the name of a great-grandfather of Jesus and it means gift so amazing meaning and it has sound that fits in with so many names that are popular right now like Matthew and just to put it in perspective Matthew was given to over 12,000 boys last year. Compared to Matthan which was given to nine and you can still get the nickname Matt if you really like that it also honored somebody means Matthew because I know Matthew was popular. when I was growing up it was popular even before that so there's probably Matthews in your family that you might want to honor and it could also be an alternative to Nathan which is another name that's been popular for quite a while.
Another name that could bean alternative to Matthew is Mattaniah. This one is a little bit more out there and it was given to less than five baby boys in 2016. it means gift of God which is the exact same meaning is Matthew and this is the original name of King Zedekiah. so I think this may would be perfect if you're looking for something a little bit more out there than Matthew. Maybe to honor someone named Matthew.

The next name I have is Zedekiah. Zedekiah was given to 32 babies in 2016 and I have a hard time believing that such a cool name is so undiscovered in the United States. Zedekiah means justice of God and so I think it'd be really cool if you have like lawyers and your family to use this name because it means justice of God. Zedekiah was the last king of Judea and this name fits in with Old Testament names that are gaining popularity like Jedediah, Zechariah, Nehemiah those are all in the top 1000 but Zedekiah isn't and jwid jedekiah, you can get some of the coolest nicknames like zed or even kiah and I think those nicknames are so cool like said I would love to meet a little boy named Zedekiah with a nickname said.

The next thing I have is Zadok. Zadok is another unusual g name from the Bible that was only used 23 times in 2016. Zadok is a Hebrew name that means a righteous which again is an amazing meaning. This name was more popular in biblical times for sure because there are nine Zadok in the Bible. The most famous vada was a high priest during the time of David and Solomon.

The next name I have is Othniel. Othniel was given to 27 babies in 2016. I am kind of head-over-heels in love with this name right now it could easily honor a othaniel. Othaniel means the Lion of God which is a very cool meaning once again in the Bible off Neal was the name of one of the judges of Israel and he was also the nephew of Caleb maybe I should think about using this name because I have a brother named Caleb so then my son would be the nephew of Caleb.

The next I have is Adonijah. Adonijah Jett was given to only 12movies in 2016 Adonijah  is one of those grand Old Testament names that are kind of making a comeback but this one just hasn't been discovered yet but it would definitely fit in with the Ezekiel's, Malachi's and Nehemiah's on the playground in the Bible. Adonijah was one of son of King David. Adonijah means My Lord is God this name could honor a grandpa dawn in a really unique way.

The next name I have almost list is Tiras. Tiras was given to less than five boys in 2016 in the Bible .Tiras is the grand son of Noah. this name possibly means desire and this man kind of has a similar feel to Silas. it defies and some of the more popular biblical name and the nickname tie could make this name a little more appealing to modern parents, I love the nickname tie  for little boys.

And the last name I have on this list is Lemuel. Lemuel  was given to 48 boys in 2016 this is one of my absolute favorite biblical names of all time. Lemuel has been in the top 1,000 in the United States but not since 1976 and now it's barely ever used Lemuel could definitely be an interesting Samuel alternative Samuel was given to over 10,000 boys in 2016.Lemuel is a Hebrew name that means belonging to God and in the book of Proverbs. Lemuel is a king who has given instructions on his mother on what to look for in a godly woman and it is one of my all-time favorite part of the Bible. Jonathan Swift also used this name for his character in Lemuel Gulliver in his famous novel Gulliver's Travels. so let me know in the comments below which of these names were your favorites and if you have any unusual biblical baby names that you love please share them in the comments I love love talking to you guys in the comments and hearing what your thoughts are on names I mean I could talk about names all day and Biblical names are probably my favorite absolutely adore them so many of my favorite names are biblical so leave me a comment and we can chat me thank you guys so much.

                               “ 5 12 5 5”

are the numbers in each that will keep us alive. let's start with the Gospels. Most think there are four but we'll add in Luke two so the doctors not poor. they walked with Jesus and wrote books on what all should base their lives upon. Matthew and Mark ,Luke and John and acts Luke wrote of the church's dawn. it's not that Jesus was crucified but was resurrected after he died. The Gospels lead each one to decide if we want his spirit living inside.

Next or Paul's letters to churches as the original Mr. T these twelve books will help us be sure of our eternity. Paul born again on Damascus Road ,his letters to churches could not be slowed. John wrote these books well 4 out of 5 with 1 by .hey Jude just one chapter no jive as we get to the finish now filled with elation we see unfulfilled prophecies all through revelation and we know that the Lord never breaks his word through his grace or mercy or foo for a bird.

We know that he is a hundred percent love, even when his judgments come down from above on a sinful earth that just can't see both his love and his wrath are done mercifully. let's memorize those books right now we know there's twenty seven. let's start with the Gospels books before Jesus returned to heaven Matthew Mark, Luke John acts read these five and handle attacks now the letters to the church is written by Paul we should read these often so we will not fall Romans then Corinthians one and two General Electric Power Company will do Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians Colossians when rain comes from heaven, we wear our galoshes now five more from Paul the first mister Tall five arranged alphabetically Thessalonians 1 and 2, Timothy one and two .Titus Lord and Vitus as we want your worldview.

The New Testament | who wrote New Testament

overview of new testament

The New Testament ,if you open up a Bible to its table of contents .you'll see it's made up of two large collections the Old and New Testaments. Who wrote the New Testament ,"Paul The Apostle" have written New testament. The word Testament refers to a covenant partnership which is what both of these collections are all about. They tell one epic and complicated story of God's covenant partnership with Israel and all humanity .the Old Testament is called Tanakh in Jewish tradition. It's a unified scroll collection of 39 Israelite texts that were over a thousand years in the making .in contrast the 27 books of the New Testament all came into existence within30 to 40 years of each other they were all written by first-generation followers of Jesus.

From an early period Christian communities began collecting these texts and reading them alongside the OldTestament as one unified story that leads to Jesus. the New Testament begins with four narrative books that together are called the gospel they tell the story of Jesus of Nazareth's life death and resurrection as an announcement of good news .there followed by a fifth narrative work called Acts of the Apostles here the Risen Jesus Commission's the Apostles a word that means the sent ones.
They're appointed as jesus's representatives to spread the good news about him throughout the ancient world. After Acts comes a collection of letters from the Apostles these were written to provide teaching and guidance for local communities of Jesus's followers called churches. there are 13 letters connected to the Apostle Paul and they're not arranged in the order of when they were written, but rather from the longest to the shortest .then there's a letter to the Hebrews written by a close but unnamed associate of the Apostles.

After this are the letters of James Jude Peter and John -were brothers of Jesus and - were among his first followers. The last New Testament book is the revelation a letter to seven churches that reveals a prophetic word of challenging comfort to all of Jesus's followers .so those are the books of the New Testament but what are they about and how are they connect with the Old Testament to make up one unified story.

Think of it this way the Bible is one long epic narrative with multiple movements or acts .the Old Testament recounts the first series of Acts that give you everything you need to make sense of the story to follow .the core themes and the plot conflict are arranged in design patterns. and then in the New Testament these are all picked up and carried forward to the store his culmination in Jesus let me show you what I mean the first act is about God and all humanity. God provides a sweet garden temple for humans who are made to be God's partners in ruling the world. but the humans are foolish and they give in to a dark temptation and rebel against God's wisdom.

So their exile into a wilderness where they start killing each other. They build cities that spread their selfishness and oppression leading up to the big bad city of Babylon but God loves the world and it's foolish humans so he sets in motion a rescue plan by promising the arrival of a new human who will destroy the evil that has lured us into self-destruction. the next act of the biblical story is about God and Israel and it develops the themes and patterns of the first act .god calls a new humanity out of Babylon into a sweet garden land Abraham Sarah and his descendants the Israelites God promises that through them divine blessing will be restored to all of the nations.

Surely these are the new humans that we're waiting for but the Israelites repeat humanity's rebellion against God building their own violent cities that lead to self-destruction and another exile in Babylon but God sustains his promise that the new human will come from Abraham's lineage it will be a priest king who will now have to rescue both Israel and humanity from Babylon to restore God's blessing to the world.

Now notice how these two acts are designed according to the same pattern the second act is a longer and more violent version of the first and together they explore the tragic human condition but they also highlight God's promise which is developed more in the next act the Old Testament prophets and poets the prophets accused Israel and all nations of their evil and they announce that one day God himself would arrive to bring the day of the Lord and deliver his world from Babylon.

he would do it through a promised royal priest who's going to suffer like a slave and die for the sins of Israel and all humanity but then he'll be exalted as king over the nation's. He will call others to leave Babylon and join the new covenant people who will partner with God to rule over a New Jerusalem that is over a new creation and so the Old Testament concludes by anticipating a new act in the story and when you turn to the New Testament. it's the same story now being carried forward in Jesus .let's see how the four Gospel accounts introduce Jesus of Nazareth both as the promised son of Abraham who will restore God's blessing to the nation's and also as that new human who will defeat evil and restore humanity to partnership with God.

So Jesus is portrayed as a human and more he went about announcing the arrival of God's promised kingdom and he spoke and acted as if he was Israel's divine king but instead of calling himself King, Jesus referred to himself as the Son of man that is the human one who would act like a servant.
The Gospels are making the claim that in Jesus Israel's God has become the faithful Israelite and the true human that we are all made to be but have failed to be. Jesus's mission was to confront that dark evil that lurks underneath humanity's evil .luring us into selfishness violence and death but how do you defeat that kind of evil.

The surprising answer in the Gospels is that Jesus overcame our evil by allowing it to kill him on his paradoxical throne the cross where Jesus died for Humanity's evil and sin and it's where he lived out what he taught that non-violence forgiveness and self giving love are the most powerful things in the universe and because God's love for his world is stronger than evil or death. Jesus was raised to new life as the prototype of a new humanity and this brings us to the story of Acts. Through the spirit God empowers Jesus's followers to spread the life and love of Jesus out into the world as they invite people to leave their old humanity and join Jesus's multi-ethnic family the new humanity.

this is where the letters from the Apostles fit into the story. here the Apostles address early Christian communities and they show how the good news about the risen King Jesus changed history and should reshape every part of our lives. they also explained the good news by constantly appealing to stories from the Old Testament and the stories of Jesus. showing us how to see our own life stories as part of the epic biblical story so all humanity is trapped in a babylonian exile but Jesus came to create a new home.

we're all living in different kinds of Egyptian slavery to selfishness and sin but Jesus died as the pass to liberate us into the promised land .our old humanity is bound for the dust of death but Jesus's resurrection opened up a new future for a new humanity. we live here in the current evil age but through Jesus and the spirit a new creation has burst open here and now and this leads us to the book of Revelation where the whole biblical story comes together in powerful symbolism and imagery.

Jesus is portrayed as a slaughtered bloody lamb who is exalted as the divine king of the world. he's leading his people out of slavery in exile in Babylon and as they resist babylons influence. They may have to suffer alongside their slain leader but when you follow the risen king not even death can prevent the dawn of the new creation. which is here depicted as a New Jerusalem garden temple the true home of humanity after its long exile and so on the Bible's last page, heaven and earth are reunited and the new humans take up their appointed tasks from the Bible's first page to rule the world together in the love and power of God.

The New Testament is a remarkable collection of documents. they represent the testimony of the Apostles that points us to the Risen Jesus himself and through God's Spirit these human words have been speaking a divine word of hope from the first century to the 21st .each book shows how God through Jesus and the Spirit is leading our world to its ultimate goal in a renewed creation and so the story's end is really the beginning of a new story that is yet to be told and that's what the New Testament is all about.
